At 2.00pm on the second Sunday of each month we host the African Catholic Community of Derby Mass. Other Masses and devotions take place on Sundays and throughout the week at our sister parish of St Joseph, Derby (www.stjosephderby.co.uk) and the University of Derby Chaplaincy (www.derbyunicatholic.co.uk).

Our Church

Our parish church is situated in the centre of the Derby suburb of Mickleover. The spacious and leafy church grounds contain areas for quiet reflection, our Lourdes Grotto (ever a site of popular devotion), the presbytery, parish office, parish centre, and ample car parking facilities.

We share a ministry team of Father Jonathan, Deacons Keith & Richard, and Sisters Helen UMI, Sneha UMI & Vineeta UMI, with the neighbouring parish of St Joseph, Derby, where our three Ursuline Sisters of Mary Immaculate are resident:

Our Parish

A geographically large parish taking in many of the villages west and southwest of Derby including Egginton, Etwall, Findern, Foston, Hatton, Hilton and Willington as well as Mickleover and parts of Littleover in the city suburbs.

We are blessed with an abundance of groups and activities in the parish including hosting the African Catholic Community of Derby, regular children's liturgy, the parish choir, the Co-Workers of St Teresa, a Grief and Loss Support Group, the Guild of St Stephen, Jesus Youth, Teen-lead Adoration, Tuesday Club for adults with special needs, Women on Wednesday, Youth Mass, Youth groups, and more besides. We offer monthly support to Life Charity and Hope Centre Foodbank. For Catholic education our parish looks towards St Joseph's primary school, Mill Hill Lane.
